Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EazyCV at eazycv.app ("Service"), operated by EazyCV ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

EazyCV is an online resume builder. You may create and edit resumes without an account. Optional sign-in lets you save resumes to your account. PDF export is a paid feature processed through our payment provider.

2. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or abuse risk.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the resume content and other materials you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, rendering previews, generating PDFs, and storing saved resumes).

You represent that you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe others' rights or violate applicable law. You must not upload unlawful, misleading, harassing, or malicious content.

4. PDF purchases

PDF downloads require a one-time payment at the price shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details. After a successful payment, you receive time-limited access to download the PDF for the associated resume, as described at checkout.

Prices and access duration may change for future purchases. Refunds are handled according to applicable consumer law and our reasonable refund policy; contact us at support@eazycv.app for billing issues.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate others' rights;
• attempt to bypass payment, access controls, or security measures;
• scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• reverse engineer or copy the Service except where permitted by law;
• use the Service to distribute malware or spam.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, templates, software, and branding (excluding Your Content), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or brand assets.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that resumes created with EazyCV will result in employment, interviews, or ATS acceptance. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for PDF access in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty euros (€50), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the Service or your access with reasonable notice where practicable, or immediately for serious violations.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.
